In this series, we encounter that language through stillness and strain: the stretch before a leap, the inhale before surrender.
Photographer Diego Sánchez and dancer Jibran Landell move between control and vulnerability — sculpting air into discipline, light into anatomy.
There’s no performance here, only the unguarded geometry of being.
Captured in studio simplicity, this is a portrait of devotion — to craft, to body, to balance.
Diego Sánchez says:
“I’ve always believed there’s nothing more beautiful than the geometry and
elegance of the male form: its perfect structure and subtle harmony invite us to
dream — from the simplest details to the most intricate ones…Creating this photo session was a significant challenge for me, as it was my first
approach to the world of ballet. But Jibran Landell —our model, and now also a friend—
is deeply talented and meticulous. We had worked together before on other projects,
but in this discipline, his dedication and passion became both the guide and the driving
force behind this series. He made it possible. He made it look easy.We created a series that celebrates the beauty and natural grace of the human body,
captured with fragility and nobility.
The result: simple and sophisticated. Thank you for that, Jibran.”
