The Spanish word “Cariño” has many translations, like affection, love, fondness, endearment, and tenderness. The word can be used by friends as well as lovers to express the closeness they feel for one another. Mexico City-based models Mateo, Adan, and Abraham are more than just colleagues, they are close friends with no lack of cariño for one another.

California-based photographer, Jordan Ferreira, set out to capture this intimacy in this new photo series he simply calls, Cariño.
